Boating at the Periyar Tiger Reserve in Thekkady: Can be booked through the official government website or the KTDC online booking portal. Visitors must enter the reserve through the main check post, pay the required entry fees, and take the forest shuttle bus from the parking area to the boat-landing point. Online booking requires selecting the time slot, entering visitor details, and carrying the same ID used during booking. Tourists are advised to reach the boarding point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled ride to complete the entry procedures smoothly and enjoy the scenic Periyar Lake experience.
